It can be pretty easy for a wedding to fall into a formula. Cut & Paste. During my very first conversation with Jess & Rol, it quickly became clear that this was something they both wanted to avoid.
When I first met them, the couple had clearly already invested a ton of thought into exactly what they wanted; from utilising the local, vintage-styled Peckham Liberal Club as a reception venue, to hand-made decorations crafted by Jess's primary school students, to doing away with the politics of a seating plan entirely.
Oh, and did I mention they had a ceilidh band?? (N.B. This isn't the actual band the couple had perform)
Even at the early planning stages the event sounded incredible so when we agreed that I'd be capturing the day, I was stoked!!
Here's a selection of my favourite moments from the day:
With the wedding set for the end of October, I was initially concerned the leaves would have all fallen away by that point. Luckily this was not the case. Much of the foliage was still intact, with a light scattering of yellow leaves on the grass. Perfect!!
